Welcome to the PEM-CRC

Who are we?

The Pediatric Emergency Medicine Collaborative Research Committee (PEM-CRC) of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is a subcommittee of the Section on Emergency Medicine. We currently have 75 contributing sites across the United States, Canada, and Spain.

PEM-CRC is a proud contributing member of the international Pediatric Emergency Research Networks (PERN) collaboration.

What do we do?

The PEM-CRC provides a framework for multicenter investigation, serving to support and facilitate the development of useful and rigorous collaborative research in PEM. While the PEM-CRC is an unfunded volunteer effort, it provides an important means of developing high-quality protocols and identifying interested co-investigators at member sites.

Additionally, we strive to support and develop the next generation of pediatric emergency medicine researchers.
